In Dry Dock.........Again!
Hi just thought I would keep you posted, The old health has taken a turn for the worse I've been stuck in hospital for 6 weeks not a great time was had I must admit but i think i'm on the mend again (almost).
This meant that I had to cancel 2 gigs, I think Roy tried to let everyone know that he could but there will have been 1 or 2 that turned up but it couldnt be avoided iwas very ill for the first few weeks, i'm just getting my feet on the ground again and I hope to do some live workASAP.
The LGI ward 32 are amazing, Renal wards are by nature differant to most wards in that the patients are regulars (Kidney Failure) and therefore it feels like going home..........almost !
The staff are dedicated and i admire them for what they do, God knows they never have enough time to do everything due to staff shortage but they get there in the end, I do hope that the team spirit will be kept as the Renal departments are being moved , Some to Seacroft and the rest to St James, and the welcome wing at LGI is to be demoilished I think? Good look in your move I think you are going to need it.
Any way enough about hospitals.
I have no plans for live music at the moment at least not until i am feeling better so not much to report on that front.
I suppose i ought to try and get back to mixing the DVD 'Live at The New Roscoe' which was interupted when I became ill,
Any way not much else I can tell you apart from 'Keep on Rockin'
Love & peace Charlie
